The launch of Antminer S7, the next generation bitcoin miner, was just announced by bitcoin mining ASIC provider Bitmain. According to the company, “this machine is not only our most efficient ever, using less than half the energy per gigahash of the S5, but it is also our most powerful miner to enter mass production.” Compared to the previous model, the Antminer S7 bitcoin miner is a denser mining rig.
